Obama is guilty of ideas which Liberals hold to be pernicious (endless, undeclared wars; unchecked executive power; the surveillance state; secrecy; inequality in the legal system; the transfer of wealth from the middle class to corporate conglomerates; and so forth). Isn't then their support for him based on mindless party loyalty, lack of intellectual honesty and absence of political independence? Liberals are not even pretending to be consistent.
